The Portland Book Festival, formerly Wordstock, is a vibrant celebration of literature and literary culture, attracting thousands of attendees. It's a place for book lovers to connect with authors, discover new reads, and participate in discussions. The festival features a diverse range of events, including author talks, panel discussions, book signings, and a bustling book fair. When Literary Arts took on the ambitious task of adopting the region's largest book festival, we were pretty excited to help make it a success. By creating a visual style that honored the festivals history, exuded the region's unique relationship with literature and dovetailed with the Literary Arts brand, we played a small part in helping a pillar of the community grow even stronger!

“Portland Book Festival is a paradise for readers and writers. The atmosphere is welcoming and celebratory, the staff extraordinarily adept, the events beautifully curated and organized. Rejuvenating, joyous, and inspiring!”

Since the rebrand the festival has been a huge success, consistently draws large crowds, with the 2024 festival attracting over 6,000 attendees to downtown Portland and playing a significant role in celebrating and promoting literature in Portland and the wider Pacific Northwest.

Literary Arts also recently completed a successful fundraising campaign, raising $22.5 million, indicating strong financial backing for their programs, including the festival.
